Kumbira is a professional and student culinary show and
live competition held in Cagayan
de Oro, Mindanao, Philippines.
It is the largest culinary event in Mindanao, lasting for three days. Kumbira is a Cebuano term for "feast."Kumbira is a
food festival that showcases the talents of chefs from different restaurants
around the city of Cagayan de Oro.
Everyone we're very excited to witness the showcase of their different talents and skills in cooking. And I believe everyone has unique skills and talents, and that is what makes each one of us special.
CUPCAKE DISPLAY
A cupcake is a small cake designed to serve one person,
which may be baked in a small thin paper or aluminum cup.In cupcake display, as you can see, their theme is about "under the sea". It was really nice to watch their cupcake display because their theme are nice and also it was delicious to eat.
CAKE DECORATING
Cake decorating is one of the sugar arts that use icing or
frosting and other edible decorative elements to make plain cakes more visually
interesting. Alternatively, cakes can be molded and sculpted to resemble
three-dimensional persons, places and things.In cake decorating, their theme that they make was "polynesian" as we can see, it was really beautiful and really delicious to eat.
BREAD SHOWPIECE
Bread is a staple food prepared from dough of flour and
water, usually by baking. Throughout recorded history it has been a prominent
food in large parts of the world and is one of the oldest man-made foods,
having been of significant importance since the dawn of agriculture.In their bread showpiece, we can see that it is really cute and an eye-catching artwork.
FLORAL CENTERPIECE
A centrepiece is an important item of a display, usually of
a table setting.Centerpieces help set the theme of the decorations and bring
extra decorations to the room. A centrepiece also refers to any central or
important object in a collection of items.As we can see in the picture, a centerpiece, with the theme
of "floral". it was beautiful and neatly arranged.
